My name is Sabine Reining, I am a 36 year old photographer from Wiesbaden, Germany. My fascination for Oman was sparked during an unspectacular stopover in Muscat on the way to Thailand. Oman? Where is that anyway? Honestly, I could not have answered that question in 2011 when I was confronted with a stopover in the Sultanate. In 2013 I decided to travel Oman for the first time and fell completely in love!

Since then, I’ve traveled Oman many times on my own and even spent my sabbatical there in 2015/2016. I explored every corner of the sultanate, taking thousands of pictures, meeting wonderful people and experiencing things I’ll never forget. I would like to pass on my extensive knowledge of country, people and culture to other interested people and I am pleased that you have landed here!
